Cynthia Brown is the President and CEO of Contract Administration Network International (CANI), an SBA-certified 100% women-owned business built from three decades in the trenches of federal acquisition.

For 31 years, she served as a senior federal acquisition leader across some of the nation’s most mission-critical agencies: the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Department of Homeland Security. As Associate Director, Branch Chief, and Senior Contracting Officer, she didn’t just award multi-million-dollar contracts—she ensured they delivered on their promise to protect national security, serve veterans, and support federal operations.

One of her proudest accomplishments was overseeing the VA’s Wounded Warrior Pilot Program, a landmark initiative focused on recovery, reintegration, and long-term support for wounded service members.
Now, as the founder and CEO of CANI Cynthia brings that same discipline, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to every client engagement. She knows what it takes to manage high-stakes programs, and lead teams through complexity because she’s done it herself, at the highest levels.

Cynthia holds an MBA in Systems Management from Lake Erie College and a BBA from Ohio University. She is DAWIA Level III and FAC-C Level III certified—credentials that represent the pinnacle of federal acquisition expertise.
